UMkhandlu kaMasipala wabaQulusi enyakatho ye KZN ususibuyekezile isinqumo sawo sokucisha-konga ugesi ngamahora angu 8 ngosuku wawehlisela kwangu- 4.
Lokhu kulandela ukungenelela kukangqongqoshe wakwa Cogta kulesifundazwe uThulasizwe Buthelezi.
Ungqongqoshe uButhelezi uhambele indawo yase Mondlo ngemva kwemibhikisho yomphakathi ngodaba lukagesi, nephethe ngokushiswa nokucekelwa phansi kwezakhiwo nempahla yomkhandlu okubala amahovisi nanye nezimoto.
“We had a difficult meeting today at eMondlo outside abaQulusi because the community has been involved in a protest over the past few days around the issue of electricity. We were also able to brief the councillors of abaQulusi, about what practical steps can be taken to ensure that the damage which was caused does not happen again. We strongly condemn the burning of government offices and government infrastructure because people have a right to protest without breaking the law. We do now understand that with the involvement of Eskom, Cogta and the municipality we will come up with workable solutions to assist the community of Mondlo,” kusho uButhelezi.
