KZN Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi has targeted 3 areas for intensified policing during the Easter holiday season.
These include 9,413 registered liquor outlets or premises, 43 airstrips, and 2,521 secondhand goods dealers.
He says these have been labelled as high risk or concern in the province, especially during a busy time when holidaymakers will be coming into KZN and criminals may take advantage.
Mkhwanazi gave an update yesterday on the state of policing in the province, where he also shared that some of the key areas of focus during this time of the year are traffic-related offences as well as serious and violent crimes.
